Coaching Tools for Managers

Satisfaction vs. Engagement
  • Satisfied employees are those that feel good; engaged employees are those who feel great when doing their best in work that matters.

  • Refers to the level of dedication, commitment, passion, innovation, and emotional energy a person is willing to expend. An engaged employee gives of their discretionary effort while demonstrating what subjectively might be called happiness. An engaged employee doesn’t rely on a situation to stimulate satisfaction, but instead finds fulfilment in his or her work role.
